Small Groups
We encourage everyone to participate in a Small Group in order to connect to Christ and each other in a smaller setting. Whether at church or someone's home, small groups are very important to the development of your spiritual life.
SUNDAY NIGHTS
Study of the Books of the Bible With Daily Journaling– Led by Dave Manning, this group meets at Linda Fletcher’s home in Inglewood on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm.
Disciple IV “Under the Tree of Life”– This 32-week Bible Study led by Jackie Sadler in her home in Hendersonville meets on Sunday evening. This class requires a commitment for all 32 weeks and began in late May. Watch for more information on another Disciple course in the Spring of 2012.
MONDAY NIGHTS
“Caring Hands” - This Knitters group gets together once a week to knit, crochet, nibble on goodies and create shawls and other items for those in need. When a shawl is finished by the group they pray over it and give it to someone with an emotional or spiritual need. They have also just started making booties to send to orphans in Africa. Meets at Millie Grammer’s home in Madison on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm.
DAYTIME
“Growing in Christ”— Angie Farris leads a ladies group at 11:00 am on Monday mornings at her home in Hendersonville. This study covers lessons on Assurance and Christian Living and help you establish a firm scriptural foundation for your life as you develop habits of Bible study and Scripture memory.
“So Long insecurity!” a Beth Moore study – In this small group ladies study led by Melinda Parker, you will learn to recognize and rely on the true Source of hope. You will be challenged to shed your old insecurities and put on the clothing of strength and dignity that can only be found through Christ. Wednesdays at 10:00 am in room 212 at the church.
