FAQs
Here is a list of Frequently Asked Questions we receive at City Road Chapel. If you don't see the answer to your questions, please call or email us (see information at left).
Where are you located?
You can find us at the corner of Gallatin Rd and Neely's Bend in Madison, Tennessee. We're the "big stone church" across from the Walgreens. For more precise directions, click here.
What time is worship?
We have two worship services on Sunday morning--one at 8:00 am and one at 10:00 am. Our 8:00 am service is a smaller, more traditional Methodist service. Our 10:00 am service is more 'contemporary' and includes a praise medley and the use of a projection system.
What do I need to wear to worship?
City Road Chapel has a 'come as you are' dress code. Some people come dressed up; some people come dressed casually. We don't have any expectations of dress; just come as you are and worship with us!
What are your office hours?
Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Do you offer financial assistance or other kinds of help?
Yes, but not directly from the church. We give money, food and other donations to various local charities, including Madison's Christian Cooperative Ministry. Our United Methodist Women host a different mission 'project' every month and we have 'special collections' throughout the year such as "Souper" bowl food collection; the "Mitten Tree" at Christmas; Toilet Paper Drive; and many more.
