Cool Christian Kids
Our 5th and 6th graders are "COOL CHRISTIAN KIDS!" This group meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month for lunch, fun, and growing in Christ!
This semester the group will be learning about "Living Positively in a Media Age." It is designed to help kids build skills to recognize how they're influenced by media, find a balance, judge what's real and what's not, evaluate music and TV choices, and learn ways to stay connected to family. All of this is backed up with scripture and reliance on our faith and faith community.
The Cool Christian Kids also go on fun trips such as the Tennessee Aquarium and do service projects such as taking stockings to local nursing homes.
