Women's Ministry
Women play a vital role in ministry throughout City Road Chapel. Not only do women hold a majority of staff positions at our church, but many of our ministries are women-laity led.
United Methodist Women
We have two UMW (United Methodist Women's) groups at City Road. Our UMW groups are part of the larger United Methodist Women entity of the United Methodist Church.
Tuesday Group
Women of all ages are invited to join this group, which meets the second Tuesday of every month at 11:00 am in the Welcome Center of the church. Ladies may bring a snack or lunch with them if they wish.
The group chooses a different charity to support every month and asks the church family to help as well. Charities they've helped include Miriam's Promise, Magdalene House, the Ronald McDonald House, and many more.
Thursday Group
Women of all ages are also invited to join this group, which meets the fourth Thursday of the month in the evening. Times and locations vary, so check the church calendar or call 868-1673. See Barbara Burnes with questions.
