Music Ministry
City Road's Music Director, Pam Schleicher-Braden, leads our wonderful music ministry, which includes the following:
Chancel Choir —
This group sings each Sunday at the 10:00 am worship service. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 7:30 with child care provided. Special programs for Christmas and Easter are presented. Open to everyone who enjoys singing.
Praise Medley Singers/Instrumentalists--
At the 10:00 am service, we sing a praise medley as our opening song(s). Two to three people lead the music while several instrumentalists, including drums, bass and piano play. We're always looking for more people to participate. Practice is Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary.
Handbell Choir--
This choir contributes musically and spiritually to our worship services about once a month during Sunday morning services, and on special occasions. Rehearsals are held at 11:10 on Sunday mornings.
Men's Ensemble--
This group of men (and one woman with a great tenor voice!) rehearse on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary. They grace the congregation with their wonderful music about once a month.
